Situated on stunning Mersea Island, Coopers Beach Holiday Park is the perfect setting for a relaxing break. Mersea Island is situated in the Blackwater Estuary and its only link to the mainland is by way of an ancient causeway known as the Strood. A wide range of activities take place on and around the estuary including fishing and sailing, therefore you are likely to see some of the many brightly coloured sails and boats.

The choices for your daily activities are endless, have a relaxing swim in the heated indoor pool, splash around with the kids in the outdoor pool or just soak up the rays on the terrace. If you are feeling energetic you could join the kids on the sports courts or take part in the Water and Sports Resorts programmes.

There is plenty for the children to do too as Sparky’s Krew, for the 5 to 11 year olds, have lots of different activities as well.

The park has everything you might need during your stay, a village shop, launderette, café, takeaway and bars. The Coastline Entertainment centre has occasional visiting cabaret shows during peak weeks and Bank Holiday periods. At other times you can choose your own entertainment be it have a chat with your new friends, play a few games of bingo, boogie on down at the disco.

If you want to get away from the site there are plenty of places to visit within easy reach of the park. On the island itself there is the Mersea Vineyard and Cudmore Grove Country Park or cross back over the causeway and you have the choice of miles of coastline to explore.
