Set in a prime position on Essex’s Sunshine Coast, Highfield Grange has everything you would need for a fantastic family holiday. Beach and Countryside nearby, great facilities on the park and great family entertainment provided day and night.
During your stay why not book up for the Sports Resorts programme where you can take part in 5-a-side football, learn football tricks shots or have archery lessons. There is also a Water Sports Resorts programme in the pool complex. However, if you don’t fancy taking part you can still enjoy the heated indoor or outdoor pools and, if feeling adventurous, whiz down the 200ft water chute.
For the teenagers there is The Mix club where there are a variety of events they can choose to take part in including learning how to be a DJ, use a simulator to drive cars round a course, make a movie and loads of other fun activities.
There’s something for everyone. For the younger kids there is the Sparkle’s Activity Corner and Kids Krew. Highfield Grange also a ParkMart convenience store on site where you can purchase everything you should need during your stay.
If you fancy a break from cooking you can enjoy a meal in the Boathouse Restaurant before going to the Grange Entertainment Centre where there are different shows every night from big bands, comedy and variety shows and even the Kids Krew put on a show for everyone to enjoy.
If you do decide to venture outside of the park then make sure that you take a trip to Clacton pier, one of the oldest in the country, which boasts an amusement arcade, fairground rides including Dodgem cars and Waltzers, SeaAquarium, safari train, shops, cafe and even a pub!
