Martello Beach - Clacton-on-Sea

Martello Beach is in an ideal location as it has 7 miles of sandy beach right on its doorstep so you can enjoy a dip in the sea, do a spot of sunbathing and build a sandcastle every day if you wanted to! The park's facilities include an indoor and outdoor pool complex with Water Resorts programme, Multi Sports Court and Sports Resorts programme, Ocean Bar, Ocean Express Café and takeaway and Ocean Bar. There is also a village shop and launderette to cater for your everyday needs.

There are plenty of Sparky’s Krew (for kids between ages 5 to 11) activities throughout the day to keep the youngsters entertained ranging from Club breakfast, mini beast safari where the kids get to explore the park for wildlife such as bugs and beetles, parachute adventure which is fun and games under a playtime parachute, spy school to fancy dress parties, discos and even talent shows.

In the early evening why not go for a stroll along the beach to enjoy the views of the Sunshine Coast before returning to the East Beach show bar to play bingo, watch the nightly Sparky’s Krew shows and entertainment from the visiting cabaret stars that make an appearance during Bank holidays and other peak weeks.

Later on why not get up and have a boogie and embarrass the kids! Or else you could have a more relaxed, although more likely competitive, game of darts or pool.

If you want to take a break from the park there are some great places nearby that are well worth a visit such as Colchester Zoo, Colchester Castle Museum, High Woods Country Park are just a few I would recommend. More caravan park holidays in Essex
