Waterside Holiday Park runs down to the waters edge at St Lawrence Bay and with panoramic views towards Mersea Island this is a beautiful location for some rest and relaxation. Whilst staying at the park you could go for a walk along the miles of stunning coastline or take a drive towards the busy resort of Southend-on-Sea, which is 27 miles away, with its many renowned attractions such as Adventure Island with over 40 rides and attractions and Sea-Life Adventure with displays of marine life from around the world.

Facilities on the park include Indoor pool, spa pool and sauna, Water Resorts programme where you can try snorkelling in a safe pool environment and Sports Resorts programmes where you can play 5-a-side football, adventure playground, and amusement arcade.

There is also a village shop, launderette, Café & Takeaway and Lounge Bar. There is also a boat launching ramp so you could launch your boat into the River Blackwater and journey along the river and enjoy the views and wildlife along the river banks.

Every evening there is entertainment held in the Waterside Tavern with live cabaret from visiting stars during Bank Holiday and peak weeks. At all other times the entertainment is more relaxed, maybe a disco, karaoke or a show by Sparky’s Krew.

The surrounding district has varied attractions from nature reserves to amusement arcades, museums to leisure centres. Nearby Maldon is an old market town which has museums and gardens for you to view or go to the promenade park with its magnificent river views, amusement centre, mini-golf and tennis courts.
